At an official ceremony in parliament, the Central Election Commission handed President-elect Rumen Radev its decision on the election of President and Vice-President of Bulgaria.
Radev commented that in his opinion there was no political crisis in the country and that a normal constitutional procedure was in progress after the resignation of the government. There are two alternatives – forming a cabinet under the current parliament or appointing a caretaker cabinet followed by early elections for parliament. “A caretaker cabinet is the exclusive responsibility of President Plevneliev and I am relying on the experience he has,” said President-elect Rumen Radev.
