Bulgaria’s outgoing Minister of Health Petre Moscov was handed an indictment over the vaccine barter with Turkey, BGNES agency reported. Earlier on Monday, Deputy Minister of Health Adam Persenski was also indicted over the same case. The news was announced at a press-conference held by the Chief Prosecutor's Spokesperson Rumiana Arnaudova. According to the Prosecution, Bulgaria suffered material damages to the tune of EUR 165,000. Moreover, the vaccine scandal caused non-material damages to the state- it stirred up distrust among Bulgarian citizens regarding children’s immunization.
