The outgoing government has approved financing worth 27.3 million euro of a project providing for the airworthiness of the Mig-29 fighters of the Bulgarian military aviation. This has been the second installment from financing earmarked for the project in the state budget. The first one to the tune of 7.2 million euro was released earlier this month. This will allow creating the necessary conditions so that the Bulgarian air force can guarantee the air sovereignty of the country and perform the common security and defense policies of the European Union and NATO.
