The high-speed railway line between the towns of Svilengrad and Parvomay (West Bulgaria) has been unveiled at an official ceremony on Thursday. The fulfillment of this project is a big step towards Bulgaria’s purpose to launch a high-speed railway line between its border with Serbia, Turkey and Greece through Sofia, Plovdiv and Burgas until 2022. According to the project, the passenger trains will be able to travel at a speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour at that railway line and freight trains will travel at a speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour.
