The outgoing Ministers in Boyko Borissov’s cabinet approved President Plevneliev’s decision to refrain from appointing a new caretaker cabinet for a short period of time. They called President Plevneliev’s decision a responsible act. The outgoing cabinet will continue to function until President-elect Rumen Radev appoints a new interim government. According to outgoing Minister of Economy Bojidar Loukarski, President Rossen Plevneliev acted as a true statesman. Outgoing Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said that it was very important for her to continue fulfilling her duties, in order to guarantee a successful winter tourist season. Outgoing Minister of Environment and Water Ivelina Vasileva added: The administration will continue to work at a good pace, because we have engagements and have to meet deadlines.
