Bulgaria’s National Assembly did not annul the decision on suspension of Belene nuclear power plant project, made on March 29, 2012, Focus news agency informs. 50 MPs voted in favor of the draft decision which envisaged that the ban should be lifted and the Belene NPP project should be revived. 64 MPs voted against and 24 MPs abstained. Thus, the draft decision which was tabled to Parliament by the Bulgarian Socialist Party was rejected.
