The National Crisis Headquarters is ready to take measures if weather conditions in Bulgaria deteriorate again, Bulgaria’s outgoing Minister of Interior Rumiana Bachvarova announced, Focus news agency informs. The snow-cleaning equipment and machines remain in the critical areas and I believe that we would deal successfully with another difficult situation. Moreover, we gained more experience in the recent calamities. In Minister Bachvarova’s view, the preventive measures taken by the state authorities yielded positive results and many people refrained from travelling. The good news is that people were not stranded on the roads for a long time and that there are no casualties or severely injured people during the latest calamity. People with health problems were taken to hospitals in advance, Minister Bachvarova further said.
