Ministry of Education and Science and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences to streamline strategy for the development of science

The Ministry of Education and Science and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will work together to streamline the draft of a National Strategy for the Development of Scientific Research.

Agreement on this was reached by Minister of Education and Science Nikolai Denkov and Bulgarian Academy of Sciences President Julian Revalski. Academician Revalski suggested a deepening of the functional links between the academy of science and universities as a top priority. Other aims underpinning the National Strategy include assisting the career development of young scientists as well as attracting young scientists and scientists from abroad.
