The leader of the party Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB) Radan Kanev has become the chairman of the new Non-partisan right-wing alliance New Republic (Nova Republika). The Alliance has political ambitions that include convening a Grand National Assembly and rebuilding some of the republic’s institutions. The Alliance’s members are DSB, Union of Plovdiv Party, Bulgarian Democratic Community Party, Civil Bloc Association, RADKO Association of Bulgarians in Macedonia and the DSB National Club of Women. Leader Radan Kanev has said that the current political model has long been unproductive and that Bulgarian political parties have to learn how to work with individuals, not with structures.
