The latest group from Bulgaria’s 25th jubilee Antarctic expedition bound for Livingston Island includes two building surveyors from the Ministry of Defence cartography department.

The army surveyors will continue the ambitious project of filming inaccessible territories in the area with the help of high-precision equipment using a powerful drone.
Meanwhile, in high wind and stormy sea, the Spanish Hesperidas ship succeeded in taking abroad some of the members of the research expedition from the Bulgarian St. Kliment Ohridski base in Antarctica. In extremely rough weather, they disembarked on Byers Peninsula, some 40 kilometers from the base, using Zodiac inflatable boats. The expedition is planned to continue into the second half of March.
