Bulgaria has not expressed new position over sanctions against Russia

Bulgaria has not expressed a new position related to the EU sanctions against Russia.

This is what Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the preparation of the Bulgarian presidency of the EU in the current caretaker government of Bulgaria, Denitsa Zlateva, told the Bulgarian National Radio.

The decision of the Council on Foreign Policy of the EU Taken at the end of December 2016 year that sanctions against Russia would be continued in the next six months remains active. It is probably in June or July twhen a new decision will be made, Denitsa Zlateva added.
