Bulgaria commemorates national hero Vasil Levski

The 144th anniversary since the death of Bulgaria's Apostle of Freedom, Vasil Levski, will be commemorated tonight in his hometown of Karlovo. In the local community center the play "Last Supper of Deacon Levski" will be presented, it was reported.

A lesson in patriotism in memory of Vasil Levski will take place in the National Museum of History in Sofia. The event is organized by the Children's Educational Center at the museum.

A discussion dedicated to the life of Levski will take place in the National Museum of Military History in the Bulgarian capital city.
