Good police cooperation between Sofia and Tehran reported

The head of Bulgaria's Chief Directorate "Combating Organized Crime," Ivaylo Spiridonov has had talks in Tehran with General Ali Moayedi Fard, Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Anti-Narcotics Police. The two have reported that good bilateral police cooperation has been established and outlined parameters for further interaction at operational level. Spiridonov is in Iran to take part in an international conference on cooperation in the fight against drugs and organized crime. The forum brings together representatives of European countries, as well as countries from western and Central Asia as well as numerous regional and international organizations.
