The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency will conduct an inspection of imported products sold in chain stores in this country.

The reason is the review of products, conducted by Slovakia, which ascertained that multinational companies are using different recipes for the food earmarked for the markets in Eastern and in Western Europe. The probes showed that the products on sale in Eastern Europe are made of inferior quality raw materials. Bulgaria is joining in the protest by the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland over the sale of inferior quality products on their markets.
