The Bulgarian press today pays attention to the expulsion of more Turkish citizens to Bulgaria. "Duma" newspaper informs that SANS expelled two more Turkish citizens from the country after a few days ago expulsion was imposed on three others as they posed a threat to Bulgaria’s national security. This time the case is about a Turkish citizen with continuous residence in the country and an official of Bulgaria’s southern neighbor, the article reads.

SANS reported that he had carried out activities that aimed at creating anti-Bulgarian attitudes in areas with mixed population in the country and was threatening the unity of the Bulgarian nation. Another Turkish citizen was trying to acquire information constituting a state secret. There is data that he also carried out actions aimed against the unity of the nation and was also trying to affect Bulgarian institutions for the benefit of foreign interests, we read in "Duma". Under the headline "SANS expels Turkish imam agitator", Trud informs that one of the expelled was Ibrahim Yalmaz who used to preach in Tombul Mosque in Shumen. He had the status of a long-term resident and was sent by the Directorate of Religious Affairs in Turkey. For a year Yalmaz reportedly tried to interfere and establish control over the religious affairs in the region.

“The black list of banned Turkish citizens grows," is a headline in Sega. If the first three cases were related to trained imams from Turkey, now the report of SANS hints the newly expelled are diplomatic officials, the paper writes. Interior Minister Plamen Uzunov refused to comment on these assumptions, Sega adds. The daily points out that so far there has been no official reaction from Ankara.
