As of next school year, 18 new weekend schools will open doors to Bulgarian children abroad, the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science has announced.
13 schools are opening in Europe (Spain, Malta, Cyprus, Germany, Great Britain), 4 in North America (in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Illinois) and in Quebec, Canada and one in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, bringing the number of Bulgarian schools abroad up to 190.
