April Fool’s Day is a special day for Gabrovo – the town where they say jokes and pranks are a way of life. Today the House of Humour and Satire in the town turns 45.
With its April Fool’s Day programme, the House caters to all tastes and ages. Admission to all exhibitions and events is free. The festival mottoed “45 years of laughter is not enough” kicks off at 10 AM with a Gabrovo orchestra performance inside the museum which has brought together the humour of many nations around the world. Archive footage will take visitors back to the museum’s history, there will be sketches, magic tricks and laughter yoga.
