Bulgarian students grab 4 medals at chemistry olympiad

Four Bulgarian students won one silver medal and three bronze ones at the 51st edition of the Mendeleev Olympiad in Chemistry in Astana, Kazakhstan. All four are leaders at the National Olympiad in Chemistry and Environmental Protection. Bulgaria has been participating in the Mendeleev Olympiad in Chemistry since 2004. Bulgarian students will also be representing the country in the 49th edition of the International Olympiad in Chemistry, which will be held in July 2017 in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand.
