Hotel revenues up by almost 17 percent year-on-year

Hotels’ revenues from overnight stays in April this year are up by 16.9 percent compared to April 2016, and stand at 44.2 million Leva /23 million euro/, National Statistical Institute data indicate.

The increase in revenues from foreign citizens accounts for 32.9 percent, and from Bulgarian citizens – for 3.1 percent. A total of 153,500 tourists from abroad have been accommodated at hotels in this country which is a 17.2 percent increase compared to April 2016.
