Authorities and professional organizations discuss reduction of administrative burden

PM Boyko Borissov is calling a meeting today of representatives of the local authorities, the state institutions and professional organizations to discuss measures aimed at reducing the administrative burden and facilitate work with the public.

The government is considering the introduction of sanctions for local state and local administration if civil servants fail to fulfill their obligations. MPs from GERB party have already submitted a new administrative procedure code to parliament envisaging fines for civil servants as well as fees for appealing state acts.
