Prime Minister Borissov remains the most popular politician in Bulgaria

A survey by Alpha Research shows that Boyko Borissov continues to be the most trusted politician in Bulgaria and that the actions during his third term appeal to 32.2 percent of respondents.

PM Borisov has supporters not only among the electorate of the ruling GERB party, but also among the followers of other parties. With 28.4% of approval, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krassimir Karakachanov, who is co-chair of the Patriotic Front Coalition, ranked second among the politicians. The other two co-chairs of the coalition - Valery Simeonov and Volen Siderov, are far behind Karakachanov with 13% and 6.6% respectively.

The actions of BSP leader Kornelia Ninova appeal to 27.3% of the respondents. Among the leaders of other political parties represented in parliament, Volya leader Vesselin Mareshki enjoys 18.1 percent of support and DPS leader Mustafa Karadayi has the support of 6 percent of Alfa Research respondents..
