Eric Rubin: Bulgaria can help Western Balkans countries become EU members

The USA believes that Bulgaria can help the countries from the Western Balkans become members of the European Union, the Ambassador of the USA to Sofia Eric Rubin said after he met with Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov. The US diplomat confirmed the support of his country towards the good neighbor agreement between Bulgaria and Macedonia that is expected to be signed in the beginning of next month. The USA also supports the efforts of Bulgaria and Greece to build a gas interconnector which would diversify gas supplies, Ambassador Eric Rubin further pointed out.
