President of France Emmanuel Macron to visit Bulgaria on August 25

The President of France Emmanuel Macron is to visit Bulgaria on August 25 at the invitation of Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov, the press office of the Bulgarian head of state announced. President Macron’s visit to Bulgaria was negotiated during Boyko Borissov’s visit to France in June this year. In Sofia Emanuel Macron will discuss with his counterpart Radev and Premier Borissov the EU perspective of the Western Balkans countries, the protection of the EU external borders, the bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and France, etc.
