Prime Minister Borissov meets US congresspeople

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has met with US congresspeople, the government's press service announced.

Good partnership in the sphere of defense within NATO, as well as the benefits of joint military exercises in this area, was part of the topics that were discussed at the meeting.

Energy security also became a topic of discussion during the meeting. Focus was placed on the development of the project for construction of the Balkan gas distribution center as well as on the study of energy resources in the Black Sea.

The main macroeconomic indicators of Bulgaria were also discussed, it was reported.
