Ludogorets drops out of Champions League

Even though it won a dramatic 3-1 victory in Razgrad versus Hapoel Beer-Sheva, Israel, the Bulgarian Ludogorets has dropped out of the Champions League with a 3-3 aggregate from the two matches with the Israeli team, but with one goal less in an away match.

Thus, for the first time in its history, Ludogorets is dropping out in the third qualifying round of the Champions League – so far it has always been able to moved on after this round. However, the European campaign of the Bulgarian champion is not over yet and on Friday it will be taking part in the play-off draw for the Europa League.
