The National Tourism Day has been marked on Vitosha mountain, overlooking the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia. As part of the events tourists from all over the country hiked to the peak of Cherni Vrah. Traditionally, tourists and mountain lovers climb Cherni Vrah on this day to bring flowers to Aleko Konstantinov's bas-relief. At the initiative of the great Bulgarian writer on August 27, 1895 the start was given to the organized tourist movement in this country.
