It is high time the multiple documents and strategies about the Bulgarians living abroad turned into real policy, Bulgaria’s Vice President Iliana Iotova said on Sunday. The popularization of the Bulgarian culture and education in areas with large Bulgarian diaspore communities is among Bulgaria’s priorities, Vice President Iotova pointed out. In her words, the lack of enough cultural institutes abroad is clearly noticed now, when Bulgaria is preparing for the forthcoming Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
