China Harbour Engineering Company operating in the sphere of construction of large-scale infrastructures has showed investor interest in Bulgaria’s big Black Sea harbors of Varna and Burgas.

This has become known after a meeting in Beijing between a delegation from the Bulgarian political party Gerb and CHEC President Lin Yichong.

The Chinese company is interested in the potential for creating an industrial area for grain exports and its officials have already been to Bulgaria for firsthand experience.

The company has assured the Bulgarian side that during construction works on their sites they hire local workers and invest a lot of efforts in the implementation of environmental technology.
