High time someone restored the self-esteem and dreams of the academic community: Anastas Gerdjikov

St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, the oldest university in Bulgaria founded in 1888, remains the most preferred university in the country with the highest enrollment which is the result of the quality of training. This is what its Rector, Prof. Anastas Gerdjikov said addressing students on the occasion of the new academic year. He pointed out that the university that he leads has a well deserved place in international ratings. Sofia University trains more than 1000 foreign students and its research output equals the output of the rest of Bulgaria’s universities. In his address to students the rector urged young people to gain knowledge and skills, be active and honest citizens, worthy and patriotic Bulgarians.
