Bulgaria and Great Britain to work together for European perspective of Western Balkans

Bulgaria and Great Britain are to work together for the European perspective, stability and prosperity of the Western Balkans. It became clear after the meeting between Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva and Great Britain’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson held in the London. What you are doing in the Western Balkans is very important to us and you can rely on our support. The countries from the Western Balkans should have Euro-Atlantic perspective. Let us coordinate our actions, Boris Johnson told Minister Zaharieva. European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini have already supported unambiguously the EU enlargement, Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva said in return. In May 2018 Bulgaria will organize a Western Balkans Summit during the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.
