Over 40,000 artefacts were discovered in Bulgaria. This country places 3rd in Europe in terms of the number of artefacts. The cultural monuments from the Thracian, the Hellenistic, the Byzantine and other periods have serious impact on the Bulgarian culture. Bulgaria must be associated with its rich cultural heritage, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said in London at a discussion on the cultural and historical tourism organized by National Geographic together with The Times, The Sunday Times and The Wall Street Journal within the frameworks of the World Travel Market London. Minister Angelkova presented the single interactive platform and a mobile application I Love Bulgaria developed by the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism. It provides information on tourist sites, accommodation facilities, catering establishments and accompanying services.
