Bulgaria has a huge potential to develop various types of tourism and offers excellent conditions for investments in this sector, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova said at investment forum held within the frameworks of the World Travel Market London. Minister Angelkova added that Bulgaria has become an attractive place for investments in tourism due to the financial stability in that country and the regulatory framework that encourages big investors. The growth of Bulgaria’s tourism is higher than the growth of tourism in Turkey, Italy and France, data of the UNWTO World Tourism Barometer shows. In the past 5 years the increase of the number of foreign tourists visiting Bulgaria is twice higher as compared to the EU average and 7 Euros out of every 100 Euros are invested in tourism, Minister Angelkova noted.
