There is no exceedance of radioactivity standards in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water announced in connection with circulated information that a radioactive cloud with ruthenium-106 had passed over Bulgaria.
From 29 September to 4 October the measured values of radionuclide ruthenium-106 in the aerosol samples obtained by the monitoring stations of the National System for Environmental Monitoring, are significantly lower than the permissible annual average specific activity for ruthenium-106 which is 1900 mBq / m3 under the Regulations on the Basic Standards for Radiation Protection.
