For the first nine months of 2017, export of goods from Bulgaria rose by 14 percent compared to the same period last year and reached some 19.6 billion euros, Deputy Minister of Economy Lachezar Borisov said, referring to Eurostat data.

According to this index, Bulgaria ranks among the top five countries of the EU. Data show that for the period January-September 2017 export of Bulgarian goods to EU countries rose by 11 per cent, while export to countries outside the EU has grown by over 20 percent.

Deputy Minister Borisov has vowed that the Ministry of Economy would continue to support Bulgarian export, as it has become one of the main sources of growth for the Bulgarian economy.
