Bulgaria is going to host the seventh summit of the countries from Central and Eastern Europe and China in 2018. This has been agreed in Budapest during the summit of the Central European Initiative (CEI) and China.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov thanked for the support given to Bulgaria to be the host of the next summit of the initiative in the 16+1 format. He pointed out that the year that is about to begin is of great importance for this county with a view to the first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
PM Borissov recalled that in 2018 Bulgaria would be hosting another key event in the 16+1 format, notably, the meeting of local government leaders in Plovdiv.
