Thanks to all political parties, Bulgaria stands very stable against the background of all the rest, and generates trust, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said in Budapest.

Borissov met for talks with his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban in connection with the next summit meeting of CEI countries and China. Bulgaria will be hosting the forum in 2018.

Boyko Borissov said that cooperation in the 16+1 format would continue with the implementation of important European projects. He confirmed that the European integration of the Western Balkans remained on the list of priorities of the 2018 Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and voiced conviction that with investments from China the region would become prosperous and competitive.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban voiced hopes that the Bulgarian EU Presidency would be a success.
