Bulgaria is good ally, General Petr Pavel says

Bulgaria is a very good ally that takes part in NATO operations, in NATO exercises, in various activities of the Alliance, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General Petr Pavel said in Sofia.

Bulgaria has also responded very positively to NATO's call for a rise in GDP spending for defense. The progress achieved so far is remarkable. I believe that Bulgaria will be able to reach the target of 2 percent of GDP spent for defense by 2024, the general added in an interview with BNR.
