The Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU will be held in the Bulgarian language, as Bulgarian is an official language of the EU, said Lilyana Pavlova, Minister for the Bulgarian EU Presidency.

“All of us, cabinet ministers must hold the sittings in the Bulgarian language, Bulgarian must be spoken and all documents must be translated into Bulgarian. This will be a valuable thing, as it will enrich the language,” Minister Pavlova said.
