Foreign company studies opportunities for manufacture of electric vehicles in Bulgaria

One of the innovative companies for manufacture of electric vehicles OSVehicle showed interest in Bulgaria. The co-founder of the company Yuki Liu discussed in Sofia with Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Economy Aleksandar Manolev the plans of the company aimed at opening new production facility in Europe. Deputy Minister of Economy Manolev acquainted Yuki Liu with the investment opportunities in this country and specified that in the recent years the authorities have been fulfilling a national plan for encouraging the use of electric vehicles. Although the number of electric cars in Bulgaria is still very low and amounts to under 1% of all used vehicles, sales of electric vehicles and hybrid cars have been growing steadily between 2012 and 2015, Deputy Minister of Economy pointed out.
