By an absolute majority, with no opposing and abstentions, Bulgarian MPs lifted the moratorium on new medicines in the budget of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) for 2018.

The bill was also given a green light at second reading, supported by 192 MPs. President Rumen Radev welcomed lifting the ban on the payment of new medicines from the NHIF budget for 2018.
