Eco-activists protested on Thursday against the decision of the Bulgarian cabinet to allow the construction of a second gondola lift in the winter resort of Bansko. On Friday evening the environmentalists will continue to protest in the streets of Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. The people opposing this project said they would continue to protest during the forthcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union which begins in January.
