President Rumen Radev and his wife among Austrian President’s honorary guests at New Year concert of Vienna Philharmonic

President Rumen Radev and his wife Desislava Radeva were honorary guests at the New Year concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The two are in Vienna at the personal invitation of the President of Austria Alexander van der Bellen.

In Vienna the Bulgarian head of state held working meetings with his Austrian counterpart as well as with the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, the presidential press secretariat has reported. As of today Bulgaria takes over the Presidency of the Council of the EU from Estonia, and on 1 July will hand the rotating presidency over to Austria.

In Vienna, the Bulgarian President also met with Austria’s Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz and invited him to pay a visit to Bulgaria, the press secretariat of the Bulgarian head of state adds.
