On their professional holiday – 29 January – guards in prisons, places of detention and courthouse buildings in Bulgaria are organizing the latest in a string of protests demanding decent wages and better working conditions.
In Sofia, the protest started early this morning at the entrance to the Sofia Regional Courthouse. Demonstrations are also taking place in other towns across the country.
