Producer prices stable at end-2017: National Statistical Institute

In December 2017, producer prices in Bulgaria registered no change compared to November, interrupting a 5-month upward trend, National Statistical Institute (NSI) data indicate.

Overall, the Producer Price Index in the country went up in December 2017 by 4.1 percent, year on year. The stabilization of monthly producer inflation seems to be a factor that will, to a certain extent, bring down consumer price inflation over the coming months, NSI experts say.
