National Service for Protection director Angel Antonov resigns

The director of the National Service for Protection, General Angel Antonov resigned last night, the BNR reports.
The presidential press secretariat has confirmed that General Antonov submitted a letter to the Bulgarian head of state, wishing to be relieved of his post, though they did not specify what his motives are. Council of Ministers sources say that Antonov may be appointed consul General in Istanbul.
