Bulgaria’s winter tourist season 2017/2018 has been quite successful, data of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism shows. In 2017 nearly 460,000 foreign tourists visited Bulgaria for winter tourism, which is 15% more as compared to the previous year. The number of foreign nationals visiting this country for winter tourism is expected to be 10% higher as compared to the previous winter season when a record high number of foreign tourists visited Bulgaria, Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova told the Bulgarian National Television.
