Balkan and European leaders discuss prospects of the region in Sofia

PM Boyko Borissov, a European Commission delegation headed by its President Jean-Claude Juncker and leaders of Western Balkans countries are discussing, in Sofia today, the prospects of the region and the opportunities for its infrastructure and digital connectivity.

The EC delegation includes Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations. With this visit to Sofia, Jean-Claude Juncker concludes his Balkan tour, during which he paid visits to Belgrade, Pristina, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Skopje and Tirana.
