Addressing the Delphi Economic Forum, which brought together economists and experts in Greece for the third consecutive year to discuss new global economic tendencies, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov called for making the process of inclusion of the Western Balkans in the EU irreversible.

Borissov pointed out that the Balkans will become one of the most competitive places in the world if the projects for Pan-European corridors 4, 8 and 10, as well as the Strategy for the Danube Region are implemented, and the ports Thessaloniki-Kavala-Alexandroupolis-Bourgas-Varna-Rousse - connected. The inclusion of the Western Balkans in the EU must remain on the European agenda after the end of Bulgaria’s Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Bulgarian prime minister said.
