Bulgaria’s Premier held phone conversations with his Greek counterpart Alexis Tsipras and the President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades. Boyko Borissov informed them about the topics discussed at the EU-Turkey leaders' meeting in Varna on March 26. At a meeting with Turkey’s President Erdogan Borissov raised the issue about the detained Greek frontier guards, about the tension in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean Sea and the Cyprus Dispute. The leaders of the European Union insisted at the Varna summit that the case related to the arrested Greek soldiers in Turkey be solved until the Orthodox Easter.
