Cost of living in Bulgaria goes up by one-third in ten years: CITUB

The Institute of Social and Syndical Studies at the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions announced that according to its latest data about the consumer prices, the cost of living between March 2008 and March 2018 has gone up by over 30%. The price of food increased by 37% and the price of non-food items went up by 24%. In December 2017 CITUB estimated that a four-member Bulgarian family needed EUR 1,189 a month for normal life, or EUR 297 per person.
